How can I sell a white gold necklace?

Sell a white gold necklace perhaps on eBay or a pawnbroker. Just bought made some years ago (4-5years). The main room decorating the collar and the chain of each cost about 110 Australian dollars, or about $ 220 in total. Both pieces are white gold. There are no cases, just the collar. Do not know about it. Any thoughts on what would useful to a buyer-hand / what kind of price I could expect from the sale?

Well, I just do not have enough detail on the room to give you a clear answer. In general, if you take it to a pawnbroker you get fair value the weight of it, which would very little, regardless of the price of gold per ounce, probably about twenty dollars. They melt it to make parts for others. Now, if the Collar has some nice features for it, or a story behind it, you can sell it to an interested buyer. You can try posting on ebay, keep in mind they do a free image to be displayed with the question, others you'll pay. Everything is in the art of selling. T collar to tell a story? Where did you get it? Who did it? How rare is this particular point? How old is he? You might be able to get what you paid for it with a story good enough. You can even take a green velvet cheap jewelry a pawnshop or garage sale to add a finishing touch to your product. However, in these very difficult economic times, you are most likely will have to accept a reduction to remove your hands. Go to Ebay and search for similar items. Put them on your list to watch and see what they liquidation sale. You know how your article will get. In the end though, the old adage is still valid economic "something is worth what someone give you for it. "If you can convince someone that your piece is unique, they are willing to pay more for it. I hope my advice helped, I am an avid ebay seller and often respond to questions in this category.
