How come Black people don't surf?

I'm black and I live in San Diego. I love the beach and want to learn how to surf but I can't understand why black people have never gotten into surfing. We don't go snowboarding or ice skating either. I just wanna know what has caused this crazy cultural thinking.

The cool ones who are individuals and not controlled by society, cultural norms, and their peers do. Go for it regardless of what anyone thinks or says, your making the choice and putting in the effort, not them.
