I don't think this is an ingrown hair, pimple or boil. I thought it might be a sore lymph node or a cyst, but no other nodes are swollen or sore and I am not sick. It is reasonably painful to press.

I have had this bump for a while maybe a whole year and it has never caused discomfort until I recently pressed on it. The bump also has recently started to form kind of a head and sends a sharp stabbing feeling when touched roughly. Does you have any idea what this might be?
