I am trying to find a BATMAN villain from a old graphic novel my mom had?

the villain carried a two sided axe and wore little skulls on his belt. He reminded me of doomsday. I remember only catching a glance at eh novel before my mom yanked it from me when i was little. If anyone knows what it may be please let me know.
