i just clicked on to books and authors and was astonished to find no questions, have people stopped reading?

i read about 15 books a week, i like suspense, as in faye kelleman, john harvey, harlen coben, etc, i like sci fi and fantasy, biography and for light reading authors such as lynda page, or guilda oneill and georgette heyer I also reread the classics about every two years, sense and sensibility and jane eyre for instance,. Are there still readers out there if so what do you like to read, how much and when do you read, would you miss books if they were not there?
i have to say robin hobb is one of my favourite authors, i will look out for the other i am quite fond of medieval mysteries too
i agree i loved the famous five, i hate mills and boone, and i love crosswords and jigsaw puzzles too

I believe that reading is the finest form of learning!...Like your self, I am an avid reader, even read sauce bottle labels, but I can not read at night time, as much as I used to..I love most of the classics, adventure, some cowboys, some sci/fi..And most war books, of any era. I also love poetry, writing it and reading it, have been published, poems and short stories. One of my poems has been published as a prize winner, in a hard back book! that is one thing I am very proud of!a lot of my poetry has been about Weardale and Co Durham Keep on reading. I dont mind Catherine Cookson My missus likes Lynn Andrews among others...
