I think they’ll do okay if they have Alex mimic the Miz attitude wise (not with the whole “awesome” gimmick). Judging from the quick introduction of him last night on NXT, that’s exactly what they’re going to do so it might work. The only problem is that with the fan vote counting for 50%, people could get tired of the egos quickly.

Eli Cottonwood is a big 7 foot tree that can't wrestle at all, so they put him with John Morrison for no reason
I think they put him with Morrison because Morrison has decent mic skills and what Eli lacks in wrestling ability, Morrison can make up for during promos on the mic.

Husky Harris is also a multi-generation wrestler like Cody Rhodes, so that should be interesting to see.
Husky is one of the stars I’m looking forward to seeing most. I won’t make a final judgment until I see everybody in the ring though.

Kaval is getting paired up with Lay-Cool, as opposed to some talented wrestlers, such as ROH alumni CM Punk.
I feel sorry for Kaval because he’s going to end up getting eliminated fairly quickly with Lay-Cool as his mentors/pros. Honestly, they don’t do much but run off at the mouth and take cheap shots so I’m not sure how they were picked as mentors.

Percy Watson has the look, and I think he and MVP will go well together, but he won't last long
Honestly, I think that MVP will be one of the better mentors/pros this season but like you said, I don’t see him lasting long, especially with others riding off the coattails of their father/grandfathers who were in the business.

Titus O'Neill looks like David Otunga Mk II
There has to be one every season and it looks like Titus is it.

Lucky Cannon (what sort of name is that) will not last long at all
Looking at him last night on his introduction video, he didn’t impress me at all.

Joe Hennig (Mike McGillicutty, again, what kind of name is that) is the son of Mr. Perfect, so I expect great things for him
As long as he doesn’t try to be the second coming of his father with the “absolutely perfect” gimmick, he might do well. I just hope that he doesn’t do like other and bring up his lineage all the time.

BQ: Should Brett DiBiase be in this season, with Ted as his mentor?
Honestly, no because I think it would be too unfair of an advantage. With Ted Jr. gaining momentum in the WWE and the Million Dollar Man just getting inducted into the HoF, there’s already too much DiBiase love going around right now and people would pay more attention to his name than his in ring ability.
