What laptop would best suit me for university?
I'm going into second year in the fall to study in an English and Political Science program and I need a high performance and durable laptop that doesn't weigh too heavily. I've had a Toshiba L300 for the last 3 years and it's wearing out, trying to stay clear of Toshiba and Apple. Anything up to $1000. Any recommendations would be very much appreciated. Thank you! 
apple is stupid and macs suk!!! they all want you to use their apps only!!!
go for the sony, dell, hp, acer.......dont buy a g a y macbook. its the biggest waste of money ever!!!!!!! if your going into engineering...macbook will give you a headache trying to keep files...
