is a permit necessary to put on a fashion show at the beach? ?
We are trying to put on a fashion show at the beach but wanted to know if anyone knew if a permit was necessary! I'm in Florida BTW st.petersburg Florida
If it's a public beach, but access will be restricted from the public, a permit will probably be required.
If it's on a private beach, then persmission is all that you need.
I would check with your City Rules and maybe ask the managers of the beach or whoever sells parking permits and such. They would be knowledgable.
Also, if the beach is on an environmental watch, because of erosion, or pollution, you may not be able to have the show because of potential hazards, like littering, too many people on a fragile beach, etc.
It's really localized on each beach. I vacation in Massachusets so I"m using my knowledge from there.
